The Art Market happens every Saturday from July 8th to October 14th. It will be running from 10am to 2pm in McDonald Park, which can be found at 262 King Street.

The Art Market is a place for local artisans to display their creative work to the public in a friendly open setting. The diverse artwork from these talented artists will include everything from paintings and sculptures to jewellery and pottery.

In addition to the fantastic array of art, there will also many other attractions including live music in the newly constructed gazebo, artist demonstations, and fun activities for the kids.

Beginning on July 21st and running until August 12th, local artists are teamed up with businesses to have their artwork showcased in the store windows. There is currently 20 businesses participating in the Art Walk.

This is a fantastic opportunity for local artists to display their work to the public in a risk free environment. Its also a very exciting and different way for the artists to get their names out in the community.
